Die Idee des TrekRafting ist eine ganz simple: In der heutigen Zeit betreiben die meisten Menschen nicht nur eine, sondern viele Outdooraktivitäten wie z. B. Wandern, Trekking, Radfahren, Paddeln, Inlineskaten etc. TrekRafting verbindet das Trekking mit dem "Raften", was für Paddeln im weitesten Sinne steht. Die Kombination  Wandern (Trekking) und Paddeln (Raften) ist insofern möglich, als dass ein TrekRaft lediglich ca. 3 kg wiegt und mit einem ultrakleinen Packmaß in jeden noch so kompakten Rucksack passt bzw. an diesem befestigt werden kann. Das Ultraleichtboot TrekRaft gehört zur Gattung Packraft. Die Einsatzmöglichkeiten sind vielseitig:

Wandern Sie doch einfach einen Fluss stromaufwärts oder querfeldein zu einem Fluss / See, legen Sie ein ausgedehntes Picknick ein und paddeln Sie dann wieder zurück. Oder kombinieren Sie einfach die nächste Wanderung mit ein paar Einheiten zu Wasser.

Nehmen Sie Ihr TrekRaft mit auf die mehrtägige Wanderung nach Schweden und paddeln Sie weite Teile Ihrer geplanten Strecke auf einem Fluss. Das sind nur wenige ausgewählte Beispiele eines riesigen Einsatzspektrums.

Es gibt eine Freizeitvariante ohne Verdeck sowie eine Wildwasservariante mit Verdeck und Schenkelgurten.

Die Luftschläuche sind beidseitig beschichtet und nicht nur auf der Außenseite! Selbst wenn die äußere Schicht verletzt werden sollte, hat man immer noch einen Puffer durch die Innenbeschichtung. Der Boden ist extra verstärkt.

Das TrekRaft wird (soweit möglich) verschweißt und nicht nur vernäht/verklebt.
